Zoos Victoria - Image Making
Image making suite for hypothetical client, Zoo’s Victoria. Zoo’s Victoria’s current marketing is focused
on social, digital and some physical media,
like small posters on trains. Their marketing collateral produced also consist of
photographs that visitors take
(often then posted on social
networking sites such as Facebook), which constitutes an
important form of promotion
and have become key elements
in the marketing mix. Zoo’s Victoria’s current characteristics and attitude are family friendly, educational, experience - based on the
slogan: “Where curiosity comes
alive” insight into the audiences they are specifically targeting.
This is currently an unsuccessful strategy
when trying to appeal to a younger
audience of children and toddlers. It may workon the young parents
of these families, however Zoo’s
Victoria can find opportunity in
playing into the wants of children,
which can then influence their parents.
I created a suite of images to explore this opportunity, playing into playfulness, handcrafted organic shapes capturing the
essense of play.
